Elizabeth Martin

I will always be grateful for the skills and discipline I acquired during my time at Stage Door College. Maureen and Julie Headford both aided in helping me grow as a person as well as a student teacher/performer.
Lizzie attended Stage Door College at 16. Fresh out of school Lizzie gained her DDI in ISTD Modern under the direction of Maureen and Julie Headford. In 2009 the school gave Lizzie the opportunity to perform in the professional pantomime “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” at the Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth alongside the School’s patron, Chris Jarvis. Later, in 2010 she also danced for UK productions in their production of “Cinderella”. Lizzie also joined the cast at the Pier Theatre, Bournemouth for “The Magic of Laughter” starring Syd Little. Alongside the training that Lizzie gained at Stage Door, she also had the chance to perform with “STARBURST” cabaret troupe under the choreography of Julie Headford which gave her invaluable experience and was tremendous fun!
Lizzie is now furthering her dance training at Bird College, London and hopes to fulfil her dreams of dancing in the West End.
