This is a full-time college which was established in 1992 to enable students who wished to complete their training in a small college where they would be assured of personal attention.

We welcome students from overseas who wish to become qualified teachers of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.

For students who wish to work towards the teaching qualifications, there will be the opportunity to gain the necessary teaching skills first hand through experiencing working with the younger children and students who attend the lower school.

Our students are highly thought of in the profession due to the high level of training they receive at our college.

Students have had over many years the opportunity to gain work experience as dancers in the professional Pantomimes, at the Lighthouse, Poole Centre for the Arts and The Pavilion Theatre, Bournemouth and various Summer Seasons.

As patron Chris Jarvis has said, our teachers and visiting tutors demand standards that match those required by the business itself.

We are indeed very fortunate to have the support of many of the Examiners from a variety of genre.

Many past students have successfully opened their own Dance and Theatre Schools including Australia, Germany and all over the UK. Many others are working for established dance schools.
