Following the government’s decision yesterday to close schools on Friday, we feel it is now only right that we must act accordingly. Therefore, all classes in our main school and Sopley branch will be suspended until further notice from the end of classes on Friday 20 March.
If you are in contact with someone who may not be aware that we are posting information through Facebook and our website, I would be grateful if you could pass on this information and ask them to become a Facebook friend.
We would like to thank all our wonderful students, parents and friends for their love and support. We thank those of you who have offered financial support and suggested ways in which this could be implemented to assist us to be in a good position to maintain the School in order to reopen as soon as we are able. As we have just joined the many, many people who have suddenly found themselves without a job, we will have plenty of time to consider this.
We feel it is vital that we all stay connected and engaged and we are looking at ways, with invaluable help from Anne Frank, of how to do this. This may include dance related videos, quizzes, tutorials and online lessons. More news will follow!
We look forward to your continued support and seeing you at the grand reopening!
In the meantime, look after yourselves, your loved ones and anyone else you are able to. We must all be positive that as a school, a nation, a world we will get through this most difficult of times. Even though we may be locked away in our homes, we must keep connected and, in the famous words of old Brucie,
“Keep dancing!”
